Blue Thunder learns about the Northern Lights from her Kohkom. As they sat together beneath the night sky, Kohkom tells Blue Thunder Woman that the glittering lights are the spirits of their ancestors dancing to symbolize that they are always watching over and guiding them. Blue Thunder is deeply bonded to both the lights and her people. When she sees the Northern Lights, she discovers that her ancestors are always keeping an eye on her, so she is never alone.
